Mold Change OperatorThis position is responsible for mold changes to support the production schedule. This position is an onsite hourly and the ideal candidate must be able to work overtime, if needed. This position is placed on a skill progression giving the option to make up to $2.00 after completion of training.1 vacancy at B28 facility for 3rd shift from Monday through Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet injection molding molds in accordance with schedule.Connect water, hot runner, initial process set-up with robot and machineAssist Process Engineer and Process Techs with minor start-up procedures and repairsAble to perform color changesComply with Reyes Automotive Group safety programConduct 5S activityConduct material changes per Production ScheduleMaintain Pit Crew Carts for 5S and restockingApply oil pads to floor where neededMaintain purge and mold change records, to be completed dailyCommunicate daily issues to Pit Crew GL. and/or Proc. Eng.Abide by and ensure the following of all set safety standardsComplete machine Platen PMAny other related work deemed necessary by your managerRequirementsEducation: High school diploma or GED.Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in fast paced manufacturing environments. Technical experience preferred. Automotive industry preferred.Computer Skills: Beginner in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and in the use of e-mail, web browser applications.Mathematical Abilities: Intermediate-advanced math skills.Analytical or Reasoning Abilities: Strong analytical, planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement. Ability to understand and follow written technical procedures/instructionsCommunication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning) Ability to read, write and speak English. Highly effective, articulate communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the organization and across cultures. Bilingual English-Spanish preferredOther Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities) The ability to learn the technical aspects of the position required. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work. Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a variety of projects and tasks. Takes initiative, approaches others in a positive and constructive manner, and works well independently to achieve resultsPhysical Requirements: 100% will be spent on the production floor completing work related to the position. Must be able to lift 25 pounds individually and team lift 50 pounds. Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
