Position Title: Harvest Technician

Reports To: Team Leads and Supervisors

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

The Harvest Technician is responsible for executing all tasks associated with the harvest phase of cannabis cultivation. This includes harvesting, bucking, drying, sanitation, and inventory-related duties, while maintaining compliance, cleanliness, and adherence to company SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, chop, and transport plants with precision and cleanliness.
• Sanitize work areas and clean bins to meet high sanitation standards.
• Follow all compliance protocols, including green waste handling.
• Work independently or within a team to meet daily goals.
• Climb ladders safely to load/unload drying areas.
• Buck flowers efficiently to prepare for trimming.
• Monitor quality and resolve any product concerns.
• "Burp" bins regularly to ensure proper drying and terpene preservation.
• Adapt to workflow changes and shifting production needs.
• Remain available for weekend shifts as required.

• Positive attitude, respectful demeanor, and willingness to assist co-workers.
• Ability to comprehend detailed instructions and SOPs in English.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and inventory management skills.
• Consistent in following harvest techniques and production timelines.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands of the role.

• Regularly required to stand for extended periods (up to eight-hour shifts).
• Frequent use of hands and fingers; must be able to talk and hear clearly.
• Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing.

• Visual requirements include both close and distance vision.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

• 401(k) available after 2 months of employment
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
• Vacation and sick time available after 3 months of employment
